Samantha H.

Sam joined the KVC team in September of 2021.

She is originally from Wausau but attended school at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities for a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife. There, she worked in animal shelters, a wildlife rehabilitation center, and several local animal hospitals – including a feline specialty clinic. She got her start as a tween working hands-on with pets at the New Life Pet Adoption Center and hasn’t looked back since.

Currently, she resides amongst a menagerie of animals including a scrappy terrier named Pete, a few birds, several thriving aquatic ecosystems, and a tender toed jumping spider named Fern.
