Karissa R - Veterinary Assistant

She has experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and general practice, with a special passion for emergency and critical care. Karissa can often be found on our urgent care rotation, where she enjoys caring for patients during some of their most critical moments, while also providing compassionate care during her general practice appointments.

Outside of work, Karissa enjoys exploring state parks, tackling DIY projects and crafts, and spending time with friends and family. She and her fiancé stay busy at home with their furry family, which includes a senior German Shepherd, a rowdy Australian Cattle Dog, and six very spoiled cats.
