Joann K., CVT
Joann has been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care since 1994. Her love of animals led her to a career as a CVT. Joann received her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 1989, became certified and started practicing northwest of Wausau. She then decided to return to college part time and earned her Bachelor of Science in biology/chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1996. Joann has a special interest in critical care needs, laboratory technology and aspects of internal medicine. She has represented her professional organization since 1994 and currently acts as the secretary on the Department of Regulation and Licensing Veterinary Exam Board technician member. This involvement helps her provide pet owners with as much information as possible so they can make informed health care decisions regarding their pets. Joann resides in the Wausau area with her husband, three children and cats. She enjoys working at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care and sincerely believes in our motto: Your pets’ care is given by people who truly care.

Cherry S., CVT
Cherry received her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Madison Area Technical College in 1993. She has been at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care since 1998. From a very young age, Cherry could usually be found with her plastic stethoscope “doctoring” one of the many dogs or cats adopted by her family. By the time she was older, the choice to go into this profession was an easy one. She and her husband, Frank live outside Marathon City with their furry family, which includes an English Shepherd, Rupert, and 2 cats, Edward and Bouksis. Cherry enjoys walking, photography, gardening, cooking and baking. She currently attends Northcentral Technical College pursuing Web Development and Graphic Design.

Sara P., CVT
Sara has been practicing as a certified veterinary technician at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care since 2000. She received her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology from Madison Area Technical College in 1999. Sara chose this profession to help animals get the best possible care. She and her husband, Joe have two children, Ethan and Elijah, a cat named Callie and a dog named Jack. Sara spends most of her time caring for her children as well as her niece and nephew. She also enjoys reading and scrapbooking.

Amanda P.,CVT
Amanda relocated to the Mosinee area from Eau Claire where she worked at a small animal hospital for 3 1/2 years. She joined Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in 2007. She received her Associate degree from Argosy University of Eagan, MN in 2006. Amanda knew from a young age that helping furry, feathered and scaly animals was something she wanted to do and a career as a veterinary technician was the perfect choice. Amanda has two daughters, Jillian and Ella. Her other "kids" include two dogs, Cooper and Cedar, as well as a pair of three-legged cats named Trike and Trio, an Amazon parrot named Bumper, a Sulcata tortoise named Flash and some goldfish. In her spare time Amanda enjoys scrapbooking, reading, camping and biking.

Andrea G.,CVT
Andrea received her degree in Veterinary Technology from Madison Area Technical College in 2007. Since Andrea's mom worked at a veterinary hospital for 17 years and often brought Andrea to work with her, this profession was a natural choice. Andrea grew up riding and showing horses, as well as pigs at the Wisconsin Valley Fair for about 7 years, where she won Overall Grand Champion 2001 through 2003. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys riding horses, gardening, traveling, and kayaking and cross county skiing with her husband, Dave. Andrea and Dave have two Boxers named Beenie and Penny, a pair of mice named Allis and Daisy and some fish.

Bev S.,
Bev has an Applied Science degree from York College, Nebraska and a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. Bev has worked at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care since January 1986. She finished college, moved home and went to work for Dairy Herd Improvement Association.
At that time, Dr. Chris was a large animal veterinarian and frequently came out to Bev’s parent’s dairy farm. Her mother told him Bev was looking for a job and the rest is history! Bev has lived in Mosinee all her life, except for her college years. She and her husband farmed with Bev’s parents for many years, then farmed on their own until they sold their cows in 2001. Bev owns a yellow lab, 3 house cats, 3 horses, barn cats and some beef cows. Her hobbies include walking, horseback riding, flower gardening, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, and most any outdoor activity. She is also a First Responder for the Mosinee Fire Department and a Red Cross volunteer.

Stacy came to Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in May, 2010. She and her husband live in the Wausau area and have one son plus dogs, cats, and a hobby farm. Stacy's hobbies include helping her husband in his shop, picking strawberries and raising guinea hens.

Kathy G.,
Kathy started at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in February of 1992. She has lived in the Mosinee area all her life and met and married her husband (who grew up 6 miles from Kathy) when he returned from serving in the Air Force. They have one son, 2 grandchildren, a dog named Arctic and a cat named Inky. Kathy is a football fan, loves jigsaw puzzles and dabbling in photography.

Sue H.,
Sue has been at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care since 2000. She deems the best part of her job, besides the clients and staff, the 4-legged (and 2 or 3-legged) patients she meets. At home she has cats, pigeons (her husband’s idea) and most recently, a bunny. Sue and her husband live in Mosinee and have a son. She also works in the Emergency Department at St. Michael’s Hospital.

Linda B.,
Linda has been at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care since 2001. She has always had a soft spot for animals and enjoys visiting with the clients here as well as their pets. Linda lives on a small hobby farm with her husband, Bob. They have 2 grown sons, David and Eric. Four cats share their home and take up much of their time. Camping, gardening, horseback riding and reading are some of Linda’s favorite activities.

Melissa T.,
Melissa began working at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in December of 2003. She lives in the township of Dewey on a small hobby farm with her husband, Shane. Their companions include 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 goats, about a dozen chickens and a half dozen ducks, all of which keep Melissa very busy. She and her husband also help staff the junior and Senior High School youth programs at their church.

Tom is a lifelong resident of the Wausau area who joined Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in May 2005. He is a graduate of the University of WI - La Crosse with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He married his high school sweetheart, Sue, and has 2 children who both live in Minneapolis, Luke and Jess. He has a Goldendoodle named Kosmo and a Briard named Ruby. In the spring, summer and fall Tom loves to golf. In the winter, Tom loves to think about golfing.

Doris S.,
Doris came to work at Kronenwetter Veterinary Care in 1985; her first day was the clinic’s first day. She originally started just to help out a friend and has now been here for 20 years. Doris has done every job here at one time or another but now works two days a week doing bookwork. She has watched Kronenwetter Veterinary Care grow bigger every year and is happy to be a part of it.
